Meet Wayne Hamilton

Wayne Hamilton is a longtime Texas political operative He has severed as the past executive director of the Republican Party of Texas – the longest serving executive director in Texas history. During his tenure as executive director of the Texas GOP, Texas Republicans gained 623 elected offices, including control of every statewide office and the first Republican state house majority in 130 years. Hamilton has served as the executive director of the Texas Inaugural Committee in 2003, 2007, 2011 and Sr. Advisor in 2015, as the national political director for 2012, Rick Perry for President. As part of his political consulting services, Hamilton has assisted the campaigns of elected leaders across Texas at the county, state and federal level. In 2014 Hamilton was campaign manager for the successful 2014 gubernatorial campaign of Texas Governor Greg Abbott winning the statewide election by over 20 points. Following that election, Hamilton returned to his private businesses and state lobby practice.

In 2018 #ProjectRedTx was formed, and Hamilton agreed to take the reigns of the effort.

Hamilton is the founding partner of San Jacinto Consulting Group, a senior advisor for Caddo Associates and board director for a local institution. Hamilton is Graduate of Dallas Baptist University, and lives in Hill County, Texas.
